मैंने ज़िन्दगी को करवट लेते हुए देखा है
लोगों को रंग बदलते हुए देखा है

अपने घरों और मौज में सब छुप  गए है
जब हम जीते है तो वोह ताने देते है

हम अपने आँसू को खून बनाए हैं
और हाथों को फौलाद बनाए हैं

लोग आये और कुछ गए  यहाँ से
कुछ तो मस्ती किये और कुछ दुत्कारे

हमने पथारों से जीवन के दिये जलाए है
और अपने रातों को उजाला किए है

दुनियावालों, ना टोको हमें, न रोको हमें
हम वोह उन्चाइयां छू गए जहाँ खुदा है
